OUR BRAND VALUES*

Dhillon’s brewery was founded in 2015 with one goal in mind, to Keep It Re’ale. Their aim is to produce the most exciting, beautifully craft ales with a slight hint of madness. A combination of traditional and modern brewing methods packaged in an edgy, urban outfit.

OUR COMMITMENTS*

Sustainability

Brewing is a resource intensive process, using copious amounts of water and energy in the process. We challenge ourselves and our suppliers to minimise the amount of waste by encouraging the use of recyclable materials including the malts and water that we use.

Environment

We are striding to limit our carbon footprint by generally limiting how much plastic we are using. We are consciously using more recyclable materials in our distribution packaging to encourage our customers to be more green savvy. Waste such as Spent Grain (left over malts, hops and yeast) after the extraction of the sugars are valuable resources that can be used in the farming industry. We currently send our spent grains and hops to a local farm, Birch Tree Farm, who uses the left of malts to feed their cows and the hops as fertiliser.

Local Communities

We are proud to have been involved with a few local rugby clubs providing them with sponsorship deals over the last couple of years. We are currently working with Warwick University, more specifically their Real Ale Society and their Comedy Society. We are working in conjunction with Coventry University Students to set up and sponsor a new Real Ale society. We support local musicians and artists, providing them with a platform to showcase their talents by holding art exhibitions and music gigs.

Packaging & Waste

Inspiring & Educating

We are currently working with the next generation of brewers, for the last two years we have collaborated with Warwick Real Ale Society brewing collaboration beers for their beer festivals. We currently also have a placement student from the Nottingham Trent University working under our Head Brewer for a year learning the skills of the trade.

Energy Reduction

To help combat the amount of energy we use we have installed energy saving bulbs, more efficient elements which heat the water we use during the brewing process. We recycle the water that we use to cool down the wort in the plate heat exchanger, back into the hot liquor tank for re-use in the next brew.
