We are touring every English region to seek and celebrate the finest of English food and drink provenance, involving the finest Happerley Gold Standard
English food and drink producers (These producers can name the farmers and growers of their core ingredients) and we will be creating a debate on what each region stands for by way of their food and drink offering.
Chefs passionate about provenance will create a tasting menu celebrating the very best of their region sourcing from local farmers, growers and producers. Each event will celebrate the ingredients and the suppliers and include special guests and speakers. We are now inviting appropriate venues to get involved. We will be supporting each event with considerable local media activity and the producers, menus and recipes will be compiled into a Happerley England recipe book. All of which is endorsed by Adam Henson.
To create consumer awareness of the diversity of English produce by identifying and championing the ingredients and producers on their doorstep, creating a sense of place. Along the way we will be discovering England’s finest food and drink producers to showcase at Happerley England, launching March 2020 at Lock29.
