Sustainability
An audit has recently taken place and we strive to continually improve.
Environment
Our grounds team work all year round to maintain and improve the showground in a sympathetic manner and in keeping with the AONB guidelines.
Local Communities
The showground makes an annual contribution of £35 million a year to the local economy. In addition, we work closely with volunteer organisations, education and business partners from the region.
Packaging & Waste
All waste is taken off site to be sorted and recycled. Nothing is sent to landfill.
Inspiring & Educating
Education is at the heart of the Society. We welcome over 3500 school children to the Show as well as 1000 scouts and guides.
Energy Reduction
We are ISO9001 compliant.
Nutritional Values
Our reputable contractors provide locally sourced produce wherever possible.
Animal Welfare
An animal welfare plan is strictly adhered to by exhibitors, judges and stewards.
